i made the play... as a member of the chorus.
oh well. that's what i get for getting excited about it. first read through is tomorrow night. is it wrong to hope that one of the muses gets sick and i'm asked to fill in? hope not.

i tried out for a local production of little shop of horrors on monday... they asked if you were trying out for a specific role, and normally i haven't ever been placed in a lead role. i'm always the loud, obnoxious, funny person, so of course i didn't even think of audrey
(here is a [link] in case you don't know who she is or you need a refresher ), i wanted to be one of these girls so bad [link] .
so i did my singing audition, and i sang "defying gravity" from wicked... and i was called in the first group for the acting auditions and the person they wanted me to read for was audrey.

me?? the first person to audition for audrey?? but i'm a heavier brunette girl wearing punky clothes and skull and crossbones jewelry!
annnnnyway, i grouped up with a guy about my age who was auditioning for seymour, and an older gentlemen who was trying out for mushnik, and they loved my audrey voice. the man that was auditioning for mushnik called me audrey the rest of the night.
they had everyone read again, for different parts this time... and i got to try out for ronnette (one of the girls). i feel like i did a good job at both... but now we play the waiting game.
i am so facking nervous to see if i made it or not. we'll find out today or tomorrow, but i just can't even think about anything else but little shop of horrors... I JUST HAVE TO KNOW IF I MADE IT OR NOT!!!@#$e$twfasdfq#@%
